A sequel? For spring? Groundbreaking.
FANS OF MERYL Streep and Anne Hathaway have plenty to be excited about this week as the long-awaited follow-up to The Devil Wears Prada will soon be on our screens.
If you’re planning to watch the sequel, or just want to refresh your memory of the original, The Journal has just the quiz for you.
While some may be sceptical in an era of frequent sequels and reboots, early reviews of the film have been mostly positive, with critics describing it as “charming” and “pleasant”.
Elsewhere, initial reactions on Letterboxd have called the sequel “sweet”, “cheesy” and “nostalgic”.
Not everyone is convinced, though, with some viewers saying it is “disappointing” and doesn’t live up to the original.
Of course, like fashion, it’s all a matter of taste.
