Three men due in court over large drug seizure in west Dublin

Gardaí seized €1.5 million worth of cannabis as part of an ongoing investigation into drug trafficking by a criminal gang.

GARDAÍ HAVE CHARGED three of the men who were arrested in connection with a large drug seizure in west Dublin yesterday.

Around €1.5 million worth of cannabis and €20,000 in cash was seized by Gardaí in targeted searches carried out as part of an ongoing investigation into drug trafficking by a criminal gang.

All three men are due to appear at Blanchardstown District Court at 10.30 this morning charged in relation to the incident.

Gardaí from Blanchardstown and the Garda National Drugs Unit carried out the searches yesterday at houses in Blanchardstown, Mulhuddart and Clonsilla.

Separately, two other men arrested in connection with the seizure remain in Garda custody, one in Ballymun Garda station and the other in Navan Garda station.
