EVER DOUBT THAT Ireland has some of the most spectacular scenery on the planet? Well if you have, take a look at this mesmerising timelapse of the Irish landscape taken during the summer just passed.
The breathtaking video was shot using a single camera by Irish filmmaker Gary White over the course of a four-day trip around the county in August.
The timelapse shows waves lapping the shore on the Dingle peninsula, mist flowing along the Cliffs of Moher and Dublin city, as seen from the both the calm of the Wicklow mountains and the bustle of College Green.
Speaking about the project, White he said Ireland’s beauty needs to be seen:
I had seen some amazing timelapse videos of terrain from around the world and I was surprised to see that the Irish landscape had been sadly neglected, so I decided to see if I could do it justice. It’s a process that I’m only getting into – I hope to improve by practicing in other parts of the country soon.
