A LE MONDE journalist took this footage from a building across the street from the back entrance of the Bataclan in Paris last night.

The distressing video shows men and women fleeing the concert venue as gunshots and explosions can be heard continuously throughout.

A man and a woman are also seen holding onto window ledges in desperate attempts to escape the gunmen.

The hectic scenes include men and women hobbling from the area, as well as seriously injured people being dragged away, leaving trails of blood.

The upsetting soundtrack of gunfire is also interrupted by a man desperately searching for somebody called Oscar.

At least 80 people died at the venue last night where US band Eagles of Death Metal were playing.

Four gunmen died after police stormed the building in an attempt to rescue hostages.
