THE UMBRELLAS WERE popping up all over Dublin today – as these Rollingnews.ie photos from this morning show…
And if you were hoping for a return of the sunny weather by this weekend… Well, don’t.
While temperatures might tip 20 degrees tomorrow, it will turn cooler over the following days.
The outlook for the weekend, from Met Éireann:
“Rather unsettled as we head into the weekend with heavy showers and outbreaks of rain.”
Friday will be bright day with dry spells at first, however “the showers will turn heavy in parts of the west and northwest”.
And after a dry start on Saturday too, again “showers will become widespread and heavy during the afternoon and evening”.
Looking further ahead:
“The further outlook for next week is continuing mixed weather.”
That’s about the extent of the weather forecast for now.
In keeping with recent tradition, here is a gif of a person* looking sad about the outlook…
*Klingons are people too.
