MOTORISTS ARE BEING told to take care today, as a dense fog settles over the country.
An orange weather warning is in effect across the country, as dense pockets of fog appear across the country.
The day will be largely dry, but cold, say Met Éireann.
“Fog in many areas this morning, dense in places, with hazardous driving conditions.
“The fog will clear slowly, but may linger on until early afternoon in some sheltered inland areas. A dry day in most parts, with sunny spells developing, but a few scattered showers will occur, mainly along northwest coasts but a few isolated showers may occur near south coasts later today.”
Maximum temperatures will reach 15 degrees.
Tonight will be dry and cold, with some dense fog.
