Sometimes we are sent really useful news tips and pictures, other times we are sent really weird crap like this.
OVER HERE AT TheJournal.ie headquarters we sometimes get sent in some really, REALLY random stuff.
While for the most part our readers send us news tips and pictures that are perfectly relevant and useful, sometimes they’re really not.
We used to post some of the weird sh*te that got sent our way, and we’ve recently started bringing back the randomness.
So here’s a look at some of the surprises we got when we opened our inboxes recently:

A reader sent in this picture of a new sign she spotted in the ladies changing room of her local swimming pool. She sent in the photo with the caption:
I’d love to know what happened to necessitate a sign like this…!
Eggcellent
This photo of an egg on a floor came in with the following explanation:
I was talking to this girl in CHQ and as we left she starting eating this egg but it fell from her hand and split on the ground. Can you please help me find her?? I didn’t get her name.

This picture was sent in before the current government was formed but we still think it deserves an outing … mostly because that yellow really suits Enda.

The photograph of this little creature was e-mailed in to us with the caption:
“I think you might like to take a look at this little glum chum that I came across on the harbour wall in Bray.”

So confused
What do you think of when you think of dessert? Ice-cream? Chocolate cake? Apple pie? – maybe cheese at a push but chips and onion rings? It’s just plain wrong and one reader got in touch when they spotted just that on offer:
