A WOMAN IN her 40s has died and two children are being treated in hospital, after a fire at a housing estate in Co Wicklow overnight.
It happened at a house in Monastery Grove, Enniskerry. Firefighters responded to the scene at around 5am, and the woman was found dead in an an upstairs bedroom.
Two teenage children, aged 13 and 15, managed to escape the blaze, and are being treated for minor injuries at Crumlin Children’s Hospital in Dublin, a Garda spokesperson confirmed.
