Will Ferrell ended up drinking with a gang of Irish dads in Dublin

Scotch all round.

WILL FERRELL AND Mark Wahlberg have already departed these shores after their whistle-stop Dublin visit this week.

They managed to fit plenty in though, including a heap of selfies and a few pints.

The Hollywood stars also found themselves in the middle of a ‘bunch of Irish dads’.

Chatting to Ryan Tubridy for a pre-recorded interview for this Friday’s Late Late, they said that the men had won a competition and were taking full advantage of the few drinks on offer.

Wahlberg said:

They didn’t want to go to the movie, they just wanted to get pissed! They were like: ‘we can see it when it comes out, we can buy a proper ticket!’.

RTÉ has said that this Friday’s interview features Ferrell doing an impression of one of the dads, “who was rendered incomprehensible after a few pints”.

According to Wahlberg, nobody was really sure what was going on:

The great thing was, the guy beside him said ‘I didn’t understand a word he said either’ and he talked to us for probably five minutes!

Drunk Irish dads and Will Ferrell. A dream combination.
