Woman rescued from River Liffey

The incident happened at about 3.45pm this afternoon at Usher’s Quay in Dublin city centre.

A WOMAN IN her mid-thirties has been rescued from the River Liffey at Usher’s Quay in Dublin city centre.

Five fire engines and an ambulance assisted in the rescue, which happened at around 3.45pm.

A spokesperson for Dublin Fire Brigade told TheJournal.ie that the woman has now been taken to St James’s Hospital for treatment.
