The new adaptation of Wuthering Heights is out tomorrow – will you be watching it?

There has been a mixed reaction so far to the Saltburn director’s version of the classic novel.

LAST UPDATE | 4 hrs ago

EMERALD FENNELL’S TAKE on the classic Brontë novel Wuthering Heights lands in Irish cinemas tomorrow – just in time for Valentine’s weekend.

The adaptation, starring Aussie actors Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi, has sparked debate among film fans and literature enthusiasts since it was announced two years ago.

Reviews were just as mixed when The Journal headed to a preview screening this week, with one viewer praising the “believable” characters but saying Elordi “sounded like someone from Emmerdale”.

If you’ve been waiting to judge it for yourself (or simply to hear Charli XCX’s new album created for the film) you can do so from tomorrow.

So, we’re asking: Will you be watching the new Wuthering Heights?
