1. #INVESTIGATION: Gardaí are questioning a former government minister over claims he sexually abused children, the Irish Independent reports. A number of victims have come forward with allegations dating back to the 1990s.

2. #TRAFFIC JAM: A woman is in a critical condition following a crash on the M50 this morning. A section of the motorway is now closed with traffic disruption likely to continue for some time.

3. #EXTRADITION: David Drumm has requested to be released on bail as he does not pose a flight risk. The former boss of Anglo Irish Bank has set out his case as to why he should be released from custody ahead of his extradition hearing.

4. #ARMISTICE DAY: Today marks the 97th anniversary of the end of World War I, in which as many as 50,000 Irishmen died. Wreaths will be laid at Glasnevin Cemetery.

5. #MIGRANT CRISIS: Seven children are among 14 people who have drowned after their boat sank off the coast of Turkey. European and African leaders are meeting later today to discuss the migrant crisis.

6. #HIDDEN FOOTAGE: A Bank of Ireland employee was filmed allegedly discussing how to use a fraudulent insurance claim to recoup losses. The bank has questioned the “truthfulness” of BBC Spotlight’s video.

7. #OVERCROWDING: The Irish Examiner details a row between the INMO and management at Cork University Hospital over the opening of a new 31-bed ward that will be staffed by agency workers. The union is opposing the move as they it could set a ‘dangerous precedent’.

8. #BREXIT: David Cameron’s demands for EU reform ahead of a membership referendum have received a positive response in the Irish government, The Irish Times reports.

9. #PRESIDENTIAL RACE: The latest Republican presidential candidate debate was held last night, with Donald Trump attacked for his immigration plans. AFP reports that he again mooted plans to build a wall along the border with Mexico.
