FIVE CARS HAVE been nominated as the best-value motors in Europe for 2017.
The new Citroen C3, Kia Niro, new Peugeot 3008, SEAT Ateca, and Toyota C-HR will battle it out in the annual Autobest awards to be crowned ‘Best Buy’.
The Autobest 2017 award, voted by a jury of motoring journalists, is given to the new car which represents the best value for European buyers.
Price, service network, spare parts distribution and versatility are important criteria when deciding on the winner and design and new technologies are also taken into consideration by the panel.
The jury is made up of 31 men and women from 31 European countries, with Ireland represented by motoring journalist Dave Humphreys of Complete Car.
All of the jury members will head to the Vairano proving ground near Milan for the Final 5 Test, where the cars will be put through their paces and voting will take place.
The winning car will be announced in February 2017 at the Autobest Awards Gala. Last year, the gong went to the new Fiat Tipo.
Which one do you think should win it this year?
