There's a massive 260-foot-long water slide in Dublin city centre

And some famous faces have had a go.

IF YOU’VE BEEN on Twitter today, you’ve probably seen some talk about the #BigSlideHome.

What is it, exactly? An epic 260-foot waterslide erected near Christchurch in Dublin city centre.

This afternoon, Dubliners of every age lined up to have a go on the slide. (Note: The water slide is only open to those who won wristbands on 98FM.)

Sure there’s Linda Martin and Tallafornia’s Cormac Branagan

And Snapchatter James Kavanagh

While we were knocking around this morning, we spotted Lord Mayor of Dublin Brendan Carr sliding down in his fancy chains

This is what awaited people at the end…

It was like a throwback to the heady days of Trabolgan all over again…

Can we keep it? Please?
