COCAINE WORTH €130,200 was seized by officers from the Revenue’s Customs Service at Dublin Airport yesterday.
1.8 kilos of the drug were found in the shoes and baggage of three people who had arrived on a flight from Panama City.
The two men in their forties and one woman in her thirties were arrested and handed over to gardaí.
In a separate case, officers seized €6,400 when they stopped and searched a 48-year-old Romanian man on arrival from Budapest on Monday.
The cash, which was concealed in his baggage, was seized in accordance with proceeds of crime legislation.
Officers were yesterday granted a three month detention order in respect of the cash by Judge Patrick Clyne in the Courts of Criminal Justice.
