The Netherlands has released some pretty raunchy new stamps
The black-and-white pictures of Doutzen Kroes feature on the 10 different stamps, snapped by another Dutch icon, music video director Anton Corbijn.
THEY’RE NOT YOUR usual boring stamps showing bucolic scenes or national landmarks.
Instead, the Dutch post office is rolling out a collection with supermodel Doutzen Kroes in a series of poses.
Her arms coyly crossed across her naked chest, or clad only in a swimsuit, the former Victoria’s Secret lingerie girl could prove a hit among philatelists, as stamp collectors or enthusiasts are known.
The black-and-white pictures featured on the 10 different stamps, which go on sale from Monday from PostNL, have been snapped by another Dutch icon, photographer and music video director Anton Corbijn.
Kroes says the pictures are “atmospheric and full of emotion.” In a statement today, she said:
I usually see my photos in magazines and on posters. Photos in postage stamp format have different requirements in order to come across powerfully.
The 10 stamps are marked Netherland 1 and are destined for mailing letters within the country.
The lanky, blonde Kroes, 31, is also known as one of the faces of the cosmetics company L’Oreal.
