Here's how your local community group could win €5,000 from Honda

HONDA IRELAND IS bringing its Powering Local Dreams initiative to Munster, helping one lucky community group with a cash injection of €5,000.

The annual competition is open to all local not-for-profit, voluntary and/or charitable groups.

Last year’s money went toward the purchasing of all-terrain beach wheelchairs by Ability West in Galway, to help those with physical disabilities to fully enjoy going to the beach.

This time around, any club, group or organisation of any size based in the Cork region that “celebrates, includes, values, nurtures, shares and enhances” the community is welcome to enter.

Think your group deserves the prize? Simply email or post your application to Honda before 14th September 2017.

All entries will be reviewed and three finalists will be shortlisted by a judging panel. The final winner will be chosen by a public vote. Winners will be announced on 20th October 2017.
