Gorillas, Pinocchio and dogs make an appearance at a colourful – but angry – protest against any potential reintroduction of fees.

Today’s student march against any potential reintroduction of third-level education fees passed off peacefully but the sheer numbers paralysed the city centre for the time it took to pass from O’Connell Street to the Department of Education on Molesworth Street. Some students plan to camp outside there for the night. This was the scene today…
