Two men arrested in connection with assault on Irishman in Liverpool

It is believed the man is in a critical condition.

TWO MEN HAVE been arrested in Liverpool following the assault of an Irishman at a nightclub.

The 24-year-old Irish man is believed to be in a critical condition following the attack which took place in the city centre early yesterday morning.

Merseyside Police said emergency services attended the scene in the Concert Square are at about 2.20am yesterday.
