Man in serious condition after Sligo stabbing

Gardaí have arrested a 25-year-old in connection with the incident.

A MAN IS in a serious condition in hospital after he was stabbed in Sligo yesterday.

The 36-year-old male was stabbed in Langan Drive, in the Cranmore area of Sligo town yesterday afternoon at around 3pm, gardaí confirmed.

A 25-year-old male has been arrested in connection with the incident and is custody.

He is currently being questioned by gardaí.
