Concern for three schoolgirls missing from London

Police said they have no information to suggest the girls have left the country.

POLICE IN LONDON are appealing for help tracing three teenage girls who have been reported missing and are believed to be together.

Fardowsa Hassan, 13, Abir Salah, 16, and Ahlam Salah, 15, are all from the Wood Green area of north London. Abir and Ahlam are sisters.

Fardowsa and Abir were reported missing on 6 December; Ahlam was reported missing on 12 December.

At this stage in the investigation, police say they have no information to suggest that the girls have left the country and they are believed to be in the London area. It is possible they are sleeping on the transport network.

DCI Paul Trevers of Haringey CID said:

The girls have been reported missing before. The last time was on 19 November, when they were missing for a week. They were found safe and well in the Wood Green area on 20 November. We are concerned for their wellbeing, due to the long period of time they’ve been missing this time.

The girls’ families are concerned for their welfare and are urging them to contact them, or the police, to let them know they are safe and well.
