Barack Obama FINALLY gets his own Twitter account - and he's pretty excited
Now he and Enda can swap messages more freely.
IT APPEARS BARACK Obama has been given his own Twitter account, six years into his presidency.
The US President sometimes tweets from the handle @BarackObama but this is usually manned by his staff.
If his first tweet on the new account is anything to go by, he’s pretty excited.
As the handle is @POTUS (President of the United States), he’ll likely have to change it after his successor is elected.
Within hours, he’s managed to rack up an impressive 30,000 followers.
Although no one can tell if he’ll reach the dizzying Twitter heights of Labour TD Seán Kenny:
