This month Penneys will finally launch in the US (under the international brand name Primark) and last night there was a glam dinner in New York with a bunch of fashion movers and shakers.
Yes, they’re bracelets.
Among the attendees was Blurred Lines video, Entourage movie and We Are Your Friends gal Emily Ratajkowski:
Actress and model Ratajkowski was representing in some Primark garb, including an $11 skirt. The top was from Topshop. #shade
Ratajkowski told WWD that she’s well used to Penney’s stuff, as she spends a lot of time in Ireland (both of her grandmothers were Irish and her family has had a home in Bantry for 20 years).
I’m actually going to Ireland to see my parents [next week], so I’m skipping half of fashion week. Obviously it’s cool that this brand I knew in Dublin is opening a store here, that’s really exciting to me.

It’s safe to say excitement is up to ninety, with massive crowds expected for the shop’s debut.
