Poll: Should employers provide free car parking for employees?

A union representing Dunnes staff says the company is “inconsiderate”, but should the company be obliged to provide parking in the first place?

MANDATE TRADE UNION today hit out at plans by retail giants Dunnes Stores to remove free staff car parking at a number of stores.

The union says that the move could cost some staff up to €76 a week and is “inconsiderate”.

But should staff be entitled to free parking, particularly in crowded shopping centres?
