Man armed with 'pellet gun' arrested by gardaí at Dart station

The incident happened this afternoon.

GARDAI HAVE ARRESTED a man in his 40s who was believed to be in possession of a pellet gun.

The man was held by armed officers in the Tara Street area of Dublin this afternoon. However, gardaí could not officially comment on what the man was in possession of.

However, sources have told TheJournal.ie that it was a pellet gun.

A spokesman said: “We have arrested a man in relation to an incident outside Tara Street dart station.

“The man is now in custody and is being questioned in relation to the incident.”.
