All I can say Irish supporters stunned everyone in Poland, just reading one of the biggest Internet portals and comments to the Irish game and especially fans are so full of admire and warm words.

The fans did Ireland proud tonight by singing the team out to the end of the match and for ages after it. That’s the way to support your country and team. Lots of European news outlets have commented on it positively :)

Jesus Paula , you must be a right bag of laughs on a night out , in reality we were never going to beat Spain , lucky enough to qualify to be honest , I think we need to remember that football is far from our first national sport , that and a small population make it very hard for us to compete at this level

we didn’t contribute much to the football in the tournament but we contributed in good humor, grace in defeat and every other country who mingled with Irish fans will remember we were there. What more can you do. Our fans will probably have encouraged thousands to visit here!

Pity Roy Keane couldn’t have the same opinion!! He has every right to criticise the team but he should not have criticised the fans the way he did. They sang their hearts out for Ireland tonight and they made me very proud!
