Gardaí have arrested two men over the Vincent Ryan murder

The men, both in their 30s, are being held at Finglas and Blanchardstown garda stations.

GARDAÍ INVESTIGATING THE murder of Vincent Ryan who was shot dead in Dublin just over two weeks ago have arrested two men.

The arrests took place this morning after gardaí searched a number of premises in north and west Dublin.

The men are both in their 30s. One is being held at Finglas garda station while the other is being held at Blanchardstown garda station.

Vincent Ryan was shot dead in a car outside his partner’s house on McKee Road in Finglas on 29 February.

In a statement after his death, his family called for no retaliation for his murder.

Ryan’s brother Alan was a prominent member of the Real IRA who was murdered in 2012.
