Weather Forecast

Enjoy this snapshot of an ALMOST rain-free Ireland

The forecast isn’t too bad for the next few days. (And we mean ‘not too bad’. We’re not getting carried away).

MAKES A NICE change doesn’t it?

snap

That was the weather picture over Ireland at 7.15 this morning: just a few showers off the east and west coasts and barely a dot of rain elsewhere.

Not quite an Indian summer, but at least the weather for the next few days will be dry and mainly settled.

And the forecast into the weekend is pretty positive too.

Here’s the outlook for today, from Met Éireann:

Cool and bright, with sunny spells.

However, we’re warning there will be one or two of those “scattered showers” around too –  mainly in the north and northwest.

Temperatures could top 18 degrees in parts of the south.

For the next few days:

Mainly dry, settled weather for the rest of the week and the weekend, but a few isolated showers will occur at first and it will be relatively cool.

And some detail on the weekend:

Temperatures will improve slightly, with maximum daytime values of 15 to 18 Celsius, highest in the south and southeast.
