Witnesses sought for Dublin City fatal road accident

Adam Nolan, 48, was killed after being struck by two cars.

GARDAÍ IN STORE Street are appealing for witnesses to a fatal road traffic accident that happened on Parnell Square West near the junction with Parnell Street on Tuesday .

At approximately 12.15am a male pedestrian was seriously injured when he was struck by two cars. He was taken to The Mater Hospital where he was later pronounced dead. The drivers of both vehicles, who have been identified as part of the investigation, were uninjured.

The deceased has been named as 48-year-old Adam Nolan from Dublin.

Investigating Gardai are in particular appealing to anyone in the vicinity of Parnell Square West (close to the Rotunda Hospital entrance) between 12.05am and 12.15am to contact them.
