3. #PORTLAOISE: A 72-year-old man was brought before Portlaoise District Court charged with the murder of his wife.

4. #KILLARNEY: A woman in her 40s was found dead at a domestic residence in Killarney, County Kerry, gardaí said. 

5. #STRASBOURG: Taoiseach Micheál Martin used his address to the European Parliament in Strasbourg today to call on the EU to do more to support peace in the Middle East and a two-State solution in Palestine.
