1. #RIP Gardaí believe the victim of last night’s hit-and-run in Tallaght was purposefully targeted and knocked down. He has been named as father-of-three Stephen Lynch.

2. #OLD CITY A British tourist was stabbed while travelling on a train in Jerusalem today in what is believed to have been a terrorist attack. The 25-year-old woman died in hospital from her injuries.

3. #COURT Two men are due to appear in court tomorrow charged in connection with an alleged robbery and false imprisonment in Finglas yesterday. A 32-year-old man was ordered to get into a van after he was robbed as he walked home from work.

4. #PROTEST Ex-British soldiers are holding a rally in Belfast today against the decision to prosecute some retired security officers in relation to killings in Northern Ireland during the Troubles.

5. #BUY A BUS? Dublin Bus is selling 67 of its older vehicles – you can bid on them until 10 May.
