1. #DIPLOMATIC FLURRY: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is set to hold crunch talks with his US counterpart Donald Trump in Washington aimed at ending Russia’s war on his country.

2. #HIQA: A child in Dublin was placed on a wait list for over 14 months after a referral of sexual abuse was made to Tusla, even though a second concern was raised a month after the first referral.

3. #PALESTINE: European Union staff who have been expressing concerns about the humanitarian crisis in Gaza have written to staff union reps detailing “pressure and intimidation” from management in response to their actions.

4. #RACE FOR THE ÁRAS: Fine Gael’s National Executive will meet this evening to determine it’s next steps in choosing a presidential candidate following the shock announcement last week from Mairead McGuinness.

5. #KEEPING OUT OF IT: Meanwhile, former chief medical officer Tony Holohan has said he will not seek nominations to run for the presidency in order to protect his family from “distress, criticism or abuse”.
