1. #ARREST: Connacht rugby star Mils Muliaina has been arrested. Speaking to The42, a spokesperson for Gloucestershire police confirmed that a man in his 30s had been detained after the side’s defeat to Gloucester, on suspicion of sexual assault.

2. #FREED: An Alabama man who spent 30 years on death row for crimes he didn’t commit has walked free after his conviction for a 1985 double murder was overturned because of insufficient evidence.

3. #INJURED: Five people have been treated in hospital after a multi-car crash in Dublin last night.

4. #REALLY?: Some customers of Irish Water are being asked to tell the utility the colour of their front door, in order to ensure they get the right bill, the Irish Examiner reports. The company said it was working to match meters to the correct homes.

5. #CAR-JACKING: The husband of a nurse who was the victim of a car-jacking outside Temple Street Children’s Hospital has described her attacker as a “low-life, thieving scumbag,” the Irish Daily Star reports.

6. #THAT’S COLD: Chief Justice Susan Denham was so sick at the lack of heating in the Supreme Court last winter that she brought in her own thermometer and sent the readings to the Government, the Irish Times reports.

7. #JAILED: A California man who posted thousands of sexually explicit photos of men and women on a “revenge porn” website was jailed for 18 years yesterday in what was described as the first case of its kind in US criminal history.

8. #INTO THE ROCKS: Staying in the US, former Republican Congresswoman Michele Bachman has compared President Obama to Germanwings co-pilot Andreas Lubitz.
