2. #EARTHQUAKE: At least five people including a 10-day-old baby have died after a powerful earthquake in Taiwan brought down an apartment building.

3. #FLEEING ALEPPO: Tens of thousands of Syrians are fleeing a government ground offensive on Aleppo, which is being backed by Russian airstrikes. Aid agencies are scrambling to deliver food and shelter, The Guardian reports.

4. #COLOGNE: Cologne is back in the headlines for all the wrong reasons once again, after a reporter was groped on live television [CNN].
