WIN: Think you've got Ireland's cutest dog? Enter our Great Irish Bark Off, we'll be the judge

A woof-erful prize is up for grabs.

LET’S BE HONEST: most of us are dog people. And us dog people spend our time focused on the holy trinity – taking pics of our dogs, showing people pics of our dogs and looking at other people’s pics of other people’s dogs.

It’s not unusual to have more photos on your phone of your pet than your partner (or maybe your kids?). So let’s put these images to good use. Not only do we want to see your little cutie pie, we are prepared to vote for the cutest dog that our readers have.

Allianz has been insuring pets across Ireland since 2001, and is now launching the Great Irish Bark Off to celebrate our furry friends.

Each month we want our readers to send us a picture of their furry friend. We’ll pick our top 4 and put it to The Journal readers to vote for the Allianz Dog of the Month!

Not only will the winner experience the validation and joy of having their beloved good boy (or girl) celebrated, but the Dog of the Month will be worthy of a woof-erful prize: a €30 voucher for Irish pet shop Pets.ie.

Doesn’t the little fluff ball deserve a new chew toy?!

Submit a picture of your doggo by emailing competitions@thejournal.ie with subject line ‘Bark Off’. Be sure to include your dog’s name, age, photo and a description of their personality and hobbies.
