The boom is back: Audi is opening a €20million Dublin showroom

The multi-storey monolith will be the largest Audi dealership in Ireland.

AUDI IS OPENING a huge dealership next year when it moves from its current Audi Centre Ballsbridge premises to a new centre located on Bracken Road, Sandyford, just off the M50. It will be the biggest Audi dealership in the country.

The custom-built, multi-storey terminal was designed by Dublin-based EMD Architects and the 20,000 square metre site will have more than 10,000 square metres of floor space.

There will also be an 18-bay service workshop, high-speed charging points for Audi’s electric vehicles and plug-in hybrid eTron models and an upstairs space and digital lounge for customers featuring an Audi Sport display area, with panoramic views of Dublin.

Donal Duggan, Head of Business at Audi Centre, said:

This is a significant investment in the Audi brand, in our customers and in our team – and the creation of this stunning, modern showroom confirms the strength of our position in Dublin and across Ireland as a leading supplier of the prestigious Audi marque. The investment, and the creation of a newly-expanded, dynamic and experienced team, marks another important milestone in the development of our business.

The super centre will be one of Ireland’s greenest dealerships with many low energy solutions incorporated into the design of the building.

According to Audi Centre, the new building will create 20 new job openings and 100 jobs will be created during its construction, which is due to get under way this month.

Henning Dohrn Managing Director of Audi Ireland added:

Audi is the leading premium car brand in Ireland. Audi Centre will be the first ‘terminal’ in Ireland to be built with a private Audi digital lounge, a customer experience which takes the next step in the digitalisation of our retail business. The digital lounge is just one of many steps we are taking to maintain our leading position within the premium market in Ireland.

The new Audi Centre is due to open in November 2017.
