Body recovered in search for missing Dublin woman

A search operation involving 50 people has now been wound down.

THE BODY OF a woman has been recovered in the search for missing 38-year-old Catherine O’Reilly from Dublin.

The woman had last been seen on Thursday evening and her car was later found near Howth pier.

A large-scale search operation involving more than 50 personnel and volunteers from the Gardaí, Coast Guard, RNLI and Civil Defence took place yesterday.

The search recommenced at first light this morning and the Coast Guard said a woman’s body was recovered by a crew at the west pier.

The Coast Guard search operation has now been wound down.
