Man dies after being found seriously injured outside Dublin pub

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

A MAN WAS found in a serious condition outside a pub in Cabra this morning.

The 21 year old was discovered outside Cabra House Pub on Fassaugh Avenue at around 7:30 am.

He was taken to the Mater Hospital with serious injuries and died a short time later.

Gardaí say it appears he was seriously assaulted and they are treating his death as suspicious.

The area has been sealed off for a forensic examination and the State Pathologist has been notified.

Gardaí say they are looking into all avenues at this stage and are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

The area of Fassaugh Avenue is closed from Killala Road to Dunmanus Road in both directions and local diversions are in place.
