Brian Lenihan's former home is for sale... and Colin Farrell grew up next door

IT’S THE FORMER HOME of the Lenihan political dynasty, and the location of a host of pivotal moments – including the time Charles Haughey arrived in his green Jaguar to announce to Brian Lenihan Sr that he intended to replace Jack Lynch as Taoiseach.

In a recent interview with The Irish Times, former minister of state Conor Lenihan revealed that his childhood family home also backed onto Colin Farrell’s. Lenihan remembers his mother shouting at them to get Farrell (then four) down off the wall.
