BRENDAN O’CARROLL WAS on The Graham Norton Show last night, ahead of this year’s release of Mrs Brown D’Movie.
And it turned out a surprisingly large number of British people had never realised Mrs Brown was a man.
It was a difficult moment on Twitter.

Thought he was very good on the show last night.. He got some genuine laughs out of the audience.. Don’t think the other guests knew what was happening.And the story he told about his mam, she must have been some woman. Well done to him I say. I remember going down the local to see his stand up, always got a good laugh.
