Poll: Do you think Budget 2018 did enough for families?

From childcare to education, is the Government investing in what’s really needed?

A THOUSAND NEW special needs assistants, an extra year of free childcare and 1,300 extra teachers – these are just some of the measures being brought in to support the youngest among us, and their families.

Last week, we asked you whether you thought that families currently get enough financial support and on Wednesday, the Government’s provisions for kids and their parents were finally announced.

The plans include a €20 million investment in childcare, the continuation of the universal childcare payment for under-threes, along with an increase in a number of family-targeted benefits.

So, tell us - do you think Budget 2018 did enough for families?
