Cannabis worth €500,000 seized outside shopping centre in Kildare

Two men were arrested at the scene.

GARDAÍ FROM THE Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau seized 25 kilos of cannabis herb valued at €500,000 following the search of two vehicles at a shopping centre close to Kildare town yesterday.

The search took place shortly before 7.30pm.

Two men, both in their late 30s, were arrested at scene. They are currently being detained at Naas Garda Station detained under section two of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act.
