Woman arrested in connection with murder of boy (3)

The PSNI said that they are treating the death of the boy in Lisburn as murder.

A WOMAN HAS been arrested in connection with the death of a child in Lisburn.

The PSNI said today that detectives from Serious Crime Branch have arrested a 27-year-old woman in connection with the death of a three-year-old boy in Lisburn on 4 July, 2013.

Detectives are now treating this as a murder investigation.

Police said that the woman remains in custody at this stage, helping police with their inquiries.

The Belfast Telegraph reported last July that officers were called to a home on Trinity Terrace in Lisburn at around 2.20am, where a boy was found to be deceased.
