Body of missing woman Christina Lavin found

The 59 year old has been missing for almost three weeks.

THE BODY OF missing woman Christina Lavin has been found.

The 59-year-old woman was missing from her Dublin 8 home since 1.30pm on Saturday 16 January.

She travelled to the Bray area where she was spotted that afternoon.

It is understood her remains were located off the coast of county Down.

Gardaí thanked the media and the public for their assistance with the search but advised no further action is necessary.
