Price Comparison: What can I buy in Co Cork for under €500,000?

From a semi-d in Carrigaline to a unique detached home in Courtmacsherry, discover what’s on offer in Cork.

THIS WEEK, WE’RE scouring the real capital – and its county – to find out what  €500,000 will get us in the current climate.

We know it’s easy to get carried away when it comes to house hunting but budgeting is important. If you’re looking to buy in Cork, let us do some of the work for you with these top picks.

Three-bed, semi-detached, Carrigaline – €375,000

57 Bellflower Close is a 115 m² home that’s well-located in Carrigaline and so walking distance from the everyday amenities most families need. The house has two lounges, a kitchen with dining area, a utility room and a guest toilet on the ground floor. All three bedrooms are upstairs – the main has its own bathroom while two share the family bathroom.

The garden has a sunny west aspect and is laid out with paving and plants. The house also faces a large green which will, no doubt, let the next owner get to know the neighbours. As the town is just a stroll away, they’ll also have their pick of school, shops and sporting facilities.
