Do you have plans this Bank Holiday weekend?

Events are planned across the country this weekend.

TODAY IS ST Brigid’s Day and many people will have tomorrow off for Ireland’s newest Bank Holiday.

Events are planned across the country this weekend to celebrate one of Ireland’s patron saints, St Brigid, as well as to mark the first day of spring, the ancient Celtic festival of Imbolc and the pre-Christian Celtic goddess Brigid.

Some of the events held this weekend include Dublin City’s fifth Brigit festival to celebrate women, the first WexTrad festival in Wexford, a storytelling event in Belfast and a cross making workshop in Limerick.

So, we’re wondering: Do you have plans this Bank Holiday weekend?
