Customers report problems with Eir mobile internet
There has been a spike in reports of outages this afternoon on Downdetector.

MANY EIR CUSTOMERS have reported that experiencing problems with their Eir mobile data this afternoon.
Users in several locations across the country have reported experiencing a data outage.
On site Downdetector, which registers issues with various networks via crowdsourcing, over 2,700 people have reported outages since 1:30pm this afternoon.
On social media site X, a number of people have reported to Eir that their mobile data and broadband is no longer working.
Service provider GoMo also operates from the same network as Eir, meaning that some GoMo customers may also be experiencing similar outages.
A statement from eir said that the network had “experienced a brief, intermittent outage this afternoon that affected some fixed line and mobile customers. The issue has since been fully resolved and services are operating normally”.
