Constituency: Cork North West

In their attempt to win a seat in Cork North-West, Sinn Féin have opted for a relatively unknown party activist, Des O'Grady. A teacher at Coachford Community College in Cork, O'Grady's only prior electoral experience was in the 2009 local elections when he was eliminated on the fourth count.
