Who's missing from work today? The €86 million Euromillions jackpot has been collected

It could be… the guy who used to sit next to you in work.

IRELAND’S NEWEST MILLIONAIRES are now officially in possession of €86.7 million.

The winning syndicate from Dublin are remaining anonymous, spoiling any chance nosy neighbours had of speculating how the family in 56 were going to spend their winnings.

The winners understandably say that they are “on top of the world”.  And with a first class round the world ticket costing around €8,000, they could see the top of the world 10,000 times if they so wished.

This latest win brings the total amount won by EuroMillions players in Ireland to over €751 million.

The winners have known since last week that they had won, but had to wait until at least yesterday to collect.

If you wanted to emulate the syndicate, tonight’s draw is for a measly €25 million. A pittance.
