These are the events you have been looking for: A look at what's going on this weekend

Planes, acrobats, stormtroopers and much more…

AFTER A POOR showing by Dublin in the event guide last week, Dubliners are now spoiled for choice this weekend.

Hopefully the good weather we’ve had so far will hold up, as we prepare for air shows, circus acts and magic. Here are some of the events happening in the capital and around the country.

There are a host of options so there’s bound to be something for everyone.

The Festival of Curiosity will be taking place in locations around Dublin for the duration of the weekend.

There are exhibitions in the Science Gallery which look at the tricks our eyes play on us, as well as examining the art and science of TV production. Plus, there is a bubble show in Smock Alley Theatre.

Adults and those over 12 can take a walking tour of The Dead Zoo at the Natural History Museum. There’s an adult colouring room in the Temple Bar Gallery & Studios. And there will also be a free Finding Dory treasure hunt around Dublin.

For vegans there is the Cultural Diversity Festival Day on Friday, featuring vegan food stalls, craft beers, live music and cocktail workshops.

Malahide will be hosting the Malahide Has It Festival with aerobics and tai chi, magic shows, face painting and stilt walkers.

The Dublin Horse Show is also on this weekend in the RDS.

Around 90,000 people are expected to head out to the Bray seafront this weekend for this year’s Bray Air Display.

Apart from the planes, there will also be music, a food and craft village and the Bray Fun Fair. The airshow kicks off at noon, with 11 acts on Saturday and 16 on Sunday.
